    Description

Do you want the complete vintage package?  My father purchased this rare double pickup 1960 Gibson Melody Maker (serial number 6438) and Gibson Skylark GA-5T tube amp (serial number 107752) brand new when he was a teenager.  Everything on the guitar works: both pickups, both volume knobs, both tone knobs, and toggle switch.  Tuners are smooth and function flawlessly.  Everything is original, except for the bridge.  As pictured, the guitar has cosmetic blemishes that do not impact function.  The guitar sounds amazing, especially when played through the included Gibson Skylark amp.  The amp is also completely functional (both inputs work, volume works, frequency works) except that the power indicator light bulb is burned out and I haven't found a replacement yet.  Also included is the original case, which is cosmetically lacking but functional nonetheless.  I just installed a new set of elixirs.
More pictures available upon request.  If you're local to the St Louis area, you're welcome to play the guitar/amp prior to bidding.
Guitar, case, and amplifier will be professionally packaged for shipping.  Available for local area pickup w/out shipping charges.
