Here we have a very fine 1 owner uncirculated 1978 USA made Dean Z Explorer.  The guitar has been very well cared for these 42 years and is very clean and fully original except for the added 'by the owner' Kahler trem system, Schaller tuners, brass nut, and mini toggle switch.  It is all set up with fresh Ernie Ball .10-.46 strings and is ready to play!
Besides the very low serial# 78-00360 the guitar has all the other appointments from back then like the red side dot markers on the neck, Dean's initials under the trussrod cover, and the pair of matched vintage Dimarzio humbuckers that just SCREAM!!
The frets and ebony fretboard are in great shape with the frets showing only very light wear with no pitting and a lot of fret left.  Cosmetically very clean as seen in pictures with honest light aging, some nicks and dings here and there with a few on the points of the headstock but as you can see, nothing serious.
The owner of this guitar is selling his huge collection to take care of his out of state parents and he did to this Dean what a lot of you out there wanted to do as far as mods go but could just not quite bring yourself to do it.  So he did it for you.
This is and has been a ROCK & ROLL machine!!!
