real NATURAL pine cones are up for auction. They are dark reddish brown in color.
The cones are in their natural state.
They are not the pre-packaged, tinted or painted cones found in department stores.
They were found in the woods of NORTHERN MICHIGAN.  The bottoms are intact and flat so that they will stand up nicely. They range from 2 - 3 inches tall.
NOTE: "RED PINE" refers to the type of tree not to the color of the cones.
These cones are great for holiday crafting.
